Parent Involvement

Parent and school partnerships are essential to school success.  There are many opportunities to get involved at Global Primary Academy. Below is a list of some of the ways you can be involved, but we are always open to new ideas and partnerships.  All volunteers that are working with children in the school should complete a background check form.  Forms are available in our main office. 

Parents in Education (PIE) – Meet weekly at Global Intermediate to plan events for our school and campus.  If you are interested in more information, please contact Myda Hernandez at (303)853-1920 hernandezmy@mapleton.us.

School Advisory and Accountability Committee – This group looks at school wide initiatives and data to gather input and continually improve our school.  If you are interested in being part of our SAAC group, please contact Mrs. Nelson at nelsonl@mapleton.us or (303)853-1932.

Classroom Volunteers – Our teachers are always in need of support with various tasks.  If you are interested in helping in your child’s classroom, please connect with the teacher or the main office at (303)853-1900.
