Social-Emotional Learning at GPA!
Social-Emotional Learning at GPA!

To start this morning right, K-3rd grade students and staff at Global Primary Academy rolled out their mats and practiced yoga as part of our commitment to social-emotional learning (SEL)!

Through mindful movement, breathing exercises, and moments of stillness, our youngest learners are strengthening their focus, learning to manage emotions, and deepening their sense of empathy.

GPA Family Engagement Night
GPA Family Engagement Night

Families joined students and staff for an evening of fun, connection, and meaningful activities throughout the building.

From yoga and friendship bracelets to calming glitter bottles and painting kindness rocks, every station focused on productive ways to manage stress and navigate big emotions.

The night wrapped up with an ice cream social, the perfect way to end a night of community and care.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event so special.

Welcome to Global Primary Academy!

Global Primary Academy is a PK-3 Internationally-focused school that is a part of the Global Schools on the Broadway Campus. This small school gives teachers the time, space, and support to dive into content standards and focus on PK-3 academic success, with a heavy focus on early literacy. A student’s ownership of learning begins on day one, with opportunities to connect their learning to their community and world. The building was designed to bridge the comforts of home with the wonders of nature, to help our students become brave and curious learners. GPA students make seamless transitions to GIA for grades 4-8, and GLA, for grades 9-12.

Global Primary Academy Preschool Talent Show

Global Primary Academy preschoolers took to the stage at a talent show at their school! The show concluded their “Creative Arts” unit, where they learned about things like music, singing, and dancing, and it was a chance for their families to see what they have been doing in their classrooms lately. The students picked most of the performances themselves, which included dancing the Chicken Dance, singing along to “Girl on Fire,” by Alicia Keys, and acting out the story “A Soup Opera,” by Jim Gill. Their parents loved it, and the kids had a great time.
